Moon Upon Water
In this inaugural Artist in Residence program, MET Glodok welcomes resident artist, A (Shenzhen, China). Inspired by the Buddhist teaching of Śūraṅgama Sūtra, 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 (水中月) will reflect on the sense of impermanence, exploring Glodok like water on a quiet lake, as she ponders: what is the mind?
In collaboration with Audio Nirvana, MET Glodok presents TUNE IN, an immersive exploration of Glodok’s soundscape. Listen to the neighborhood’s beats and rhythms, hear stories from the people keeping the area’s musical tradition alive, and treat your ears to some high-quality tunes & audio system specifically curated by Audio Nirvana at MET.
